Q re healthcare m

So I just got some THC/CBD cartridges from the dispensary (my mm card arrived final Friday). The dispensary gave me a battery preset at 1 voltage and the vapor output is harsh. If I use my personal battery and set the voltage low (240v) the vapor does not make me choke. I asked this at the dispensary but they had no clue: is there a greater temp / voltage I need to be applying for this? I know that in flower THC vaporizes at a greater temp variety than CBD, but does this even matter with the distillate?
